For multi location Shopify stores and the bookkeepers who close their month
Shopify took away your one page close out report
Since May 2025 the Finance Summary is a dashboard of charts with no print and no export. This puts the close out back on a single page you can print or have emailed to you.
$19 per month, per storeAny number of locations and sales channels. Cancel any time from your account settings.
Where the money goes today
You used to print one page at the end of the day and leave it for the accountant. Gift card sales, the liabilities section and the Total Payments figure went with the old report.
The same close out now means running a separate report for every location and every sales channel, then writing the location on the page by hand.
The browser print out is too small to read and it does not work on the iPad at the counter. Exporting to CSV drops everything into one column, so you format it again every single day.
What it does
The close out on one page
Sales, payment types, gift cards and total payments for one day, broken down by location and sales channel. One sheet per location, in the layout you printed before May 2025.
Emailed at the time you choose
Pick a time and the PDF arrives ready to print. Month end works the same way, so a bookkeeper gets the figures without opening the store admin.
Useful the day you connect it
Generate any past day as soon as the store is connected. Nothing has to be collected first, so you can catch up on a month you have not closed yet.
Questions
- When does it launch?
- We are checking demand before we build it. Everyone on the waitlist hears the launch date first, and we will ask what your close out has to show before we finish it.
- I look after several stores. What does that cost?
- 49 dollars a month covers up to ten stores. Join the waitlist and tell us how many stores you close, and we will confirm the price with you before anything is charged.
- Does it replace the reports Shopify removed?
- It rebuilds the one page close out from the data Shopify still exposes through its API. That covers sales, payment types, gift cards and total payments per location and channel.
- Is this accounting or tax advice?
- No. It reports figures Shopify has already calculated and lays them out on one page. It does not classify entries, reconcile your ledger or give tax advice.
- Who is behind this?
- Smallcraft Labs, a small software company. Company details are on the legal page, and support@smallcraftlabs.com reaches a person.
